Press Release Regenerating Europe Tour 2025
Europe stands at a historic crossroads. Pioneering farmers are proving that regenerative agriculture holds systemic answers to our most pressing ecological, economic, and political crises, and they are ready to lead.
EARA officially launched its Regenerating Europe Tour in Brussels from 5 to 7 February 2025, convening over 300 key stakeholders, high-level decision-makers, and pioneering farmers for a landmark series of events at the European Parliament and European Economic and Social Committee. The week underscored the urgent and uncompromising need to regenerate soils, communities, and economies, and placed farmers at the centre of that conversation.
The programme opened with a public dialogue featuring practitioners of regenerative agriculture, food-as-medicine advocates, and water systems experts. A high-level dinner at the European Parliament allowed EARA to present regenerative agriculture concepts and reform proposals directly to MEPs and key stakeholders. A full-day multi-stakeholder workshop followed, exploring barriers and opportunities for farmers in transition, drawing on insights from pioneering EARA members and bringing together farmers, businesses, investors, scientists, and civil society to build consensus on innovative policy reforms. The week concluded with a farm visit to EARA Founding Member Géraud Dumont de Chassart’s farm, demonstrating the soil and water benefits of regenerative systems in practice
The launch of a two-year tour
The Brussels events marked the official launch of EARA’s Regenerating Europe Tour, a two-year initiative designed to pave the way for tangible transition plans and an ambitious yet pragmatic CAP reform. After Brussels, the tour continues across more than ten European capitals, starting with Copenhagen in May 2025, followed by London, Madrid, Berlin, Rome, and Cyprus.
“This tour is about action, collaboration, and real policy transformation. By bringing together farmers, policymakers, and industry leaders, we aim to create a regenerative future that ensures food security, environmental sustainability, and economic resilience across Europe.”
