Associated Partners
Grow with the land.
What is an Associated Partner? Associated Partners support EARA financially and have access to a range of activities, but do not hold voting rights at general assemblies or active governance rights within the association. Full Farmer Membership is the pathway to governance participation.
Associated Partners are individuals aligned with EARA’s values who want to support the farmer-led regeneration movement in Europe. You don’t need to be a farmer, you need to care about the land and what growing food regeneratively means for people, ecosystems, and communities.
Whether you’re a researcher, agronomist, educator, policy expert, or a farmer beginning your journey, this is your way in. It’s a space to learn, connect, contribute, and grow alongside those who are changing how Europe farms.
Many paths, one shared direction
Active farmers
Farmers already practising or exploring regenerative methods who want to connect with a European movement and access knowledge, events, and peer networks.
Associated Partnership is also an entry pathway for farmers who may become full EARA Farmer Members in the future, with voting rights and active participation in the association’s governance.
New & transitioning farmers
Those entering agriculture or shifting their practice toward regenerative systems. Associated Membership is a natural entry point before becoming a full Farmer Member.

People working at NGOs, government bodies, or advocacy organisations who want to align their work with a living, farmer-led movement.

Things people often ask us
Do I need to be a farmer to become an Associated Partner?
No, an Associated Partnership is open to anyone aligned with EARA’s values. Researchers, agronomists, educators, policy professionals, food system actors, and many others are welcome. You don’t need to farm to be part of the community.
What is the difference between an Associated Partners and a Farmer Member?
Farmer Members are the heart of EARA’s governance. They have full voting rights at general assemblies and active roles in shaping the association’s direction. Associated Partners support the association financially and participate in many activities, but do not have voting or active governance rights. It is defined in EARA’s bylaws.
Can I become a Farmer Member in the future?
Yes. For farmers, Associated Partnership is an explicit entry pathway toward full Farmer Membership. During the application process, you can indicate your interest in becoming a Farmer Member in the future and be added to the EARA Farmer Database.
Is EARA active in my country?
EARA operates across Europe with national chapters and a growing network of farmer members and partners. Even if EARA’s presence in your country is still developing, your membership helps build that presence and connects you to the wider European movement.
