The aim of our Open Farm Day is to introduce our farm's operations and strategies to fellow farmers, stakeholders, and partners. The heart of the day is a farm tour, where we'll showcase our soil carbon measurement, farming practices, crops, soil health assessment, and continuous cover forestry. It's a chance to see and feel our regenerative approach to farming first-hand and to share ideas with one another over drinks and local food.

The Allgäu Pasture Congress "Regional Agricultural Transition" on 8 October 2026 in Weitnau launches "Research Meets Village" and AGRI FUTURE LAB Bavaria as a contribution to the UN International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists 2026. The cow and the pasture take centre stage — as the hinge between landscape, soil, people, craft and future, marking the Allgäu's second agricultural transition. The day culminates in the signing of the Weitnau Manifesto.
