Soil, Data & Profit: Who Really Benefits from Farm Data?
AI, satellites, and sensors are reshaping what’s possible for farmers, but only if farmers control what data they share, with whom, and on what terms. Benedikt leads a session on data ownership, nature markets, and how farmers can engage with emerging digital and carbon tools on their own terms.

Soil Surgery Sessions
A second day of the farmer-led soil health workshops.
16:30 Grass Tent
Farming Europe’s Frontier: Live Dialogues from the Regenerative Edge
EARA farmers from Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Finland share evidence-based reports from their regenerative systems, followed by an open participatory dialogue on what the movement needs next. A highlight of the EARA programme.
16:30 The Workshop
Only Art & Beaver Will Save Us!
Regeneration is a bold act of creativity. Join EARA’s Nick Viney for a session on imagination as a tool for landscape resilience, exploring what our land could look and feel like if we fully engaged with nature’s growing layers. Expect bravery, discovery, and joy.
Groundswell is a two-day regenerative agriculture festival that provides a forum for farmers, growers and anyone interested in agroecological systems to learn about producing food and fibre while regenerating the soil and land.
Groundswell is hosted by the Cherry family on their farms in Hertfordshire. The on-farm location means the event has a practical focus, with in-field demos and safaris alongside the main talks and workshops in a variety of venues. Many attendees camp on-site during the festival, and there’s an array of independent food traders and evening entertainment at the ‘Earthworm Arms’ bar. Groundswell maintains an independent and grassroots ‘by farmers for farmers’ ethos whilst being firmly established in the farming calendar as a key knowledge exchange event.
Festival Opening Time:
