Regenerating
Europe Tour
Regenerating Europe from the Ground Up
Coordinated collective action is crucial to transforming the systems that steward the world we all depend on. That’s why we launched the Regenerating Agriculture Tour. A farmer-led initiative bringing together key agrifood system players for strategic dialogue. Together, we aim to explore how we can collaborate more effectively, set shared commitments, committees and build momentum for meaningful change across the agrifood ecosystem.
This is the time to fully focus on regenerating forms of agriculture - practices rooted in care for people, plants, animals and living systems.
Together we are stepping up to constructively facilitate a Strategic Dialogue from the Ground Up. Led by Europe’s most innovative and progressive farmers, EARA’s Regenerating Europe Tour is setting out to build aligned and cohesive leadership.
The European Commission is preparing to reform the Common Agricultural Policy and reshape the EU’s long-term budget starting in 2028. From a farmer’s view, the plan risks a distant central fund with less support, same bureaucracy.
EARA is stepping in for a radical reform process. We’re building a broad alliance of actors to support Member States in this transition - making sure that regenerative forms of agriculture, soil health, and rural resilience stay at the centre of Europe’s agricultural future.
As EARA works to regenerate Europe through our farming communities, a wealth of tools and initiatives - anchored in a harmonised data infrastructure - is being developed, by farmers, for farmers, eaters, industry, retailers, and policymakers. Pragmatic tools essential for the transition to a just, ecological, economic, and social Europe. This includes farm-level agronomic intelligence, risk insurance to supply chain validation and EU policy integration.
As we move forward with the tour, we’ll reveal what we’re building, inviting you to join us in discussion, co-creation and application.
Having started with the AgriFood Regeneration Week in Brussels in February 2025 we are touring the EU Member States in 2025 and 2026 hosting high-level strategic dialogues, panels, Q&A sessions, farm visits and workshops, focused on collaboration across all levels, from farmers to businesses to policymakers to citizens.
